Today (Thursday) I had my fourth and final big treatment. "Big" treatment means I was at the clinic for more than seven hours. During this time I was given two chemo drugs and five other drugs to help with side effects. The day went well and I have a pretty good appetite this evening.
It was good to have a couple of extra days before this treatment. I felt better Tuesday and Wednesday than I have felt in several weeks. It showed me that it won't take too long for some of the chemo side effects to go away. Of course there are some side effects that will last for almost a year, but it is still good to know that I will start feeling better before radiation starts.
