Chemo Week #2

In the United States we are approaching the Thanksgiving holiday. We take time to celebrate and give thanks for the many blessing in our lives (along with eating turkey and lots of good food). We are especially thankful for faith, family, friends, and many years of good health. We want to offer another special thank you to all of you for your continued prayers and support. Your support makes the challenges of the journey more manageable.

The good news is that each day becomes easier following my big chemo treatment last week. This week I had a small treatment on Monday and an injection on Tuesday to boost by white blood cell count. So far, no new symptoms from these additional treatments!

Wednesday we are driving to Chicago to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with our son Bryan and his wife Leslie. This is the first time that they have had enough space to host a holiday celebration and we are looking forward to being with them.
