I have now completed 22 of 30 radiation treatments. The end of treatments is in sight! Side effects from radiation have been minimal and remaining side effects from chemo are manageable. I'm looking forward to the completion of treatments soon.
It has now been six months since I was first diagnosed with lung cancer. In addition to countless scans and tests, I had surgery to remove the tumor and my upper right lung, 12 weeks of chemo, and will soon complete 6 weeks of radiation. Dealing with the cancer, recovery from major surgery, and the various side effects from treatments has been a challenge, but has been made easier with the prayers and support of family and friends. Sharon and I thank you very much for your continued prayers and support.
